Automate Processing of Cubes

Processing is the act of refreshing the data in a cube. During processing, data in a
cube is refreshed with data from the online transaction processing (OLTP)
database.

SQL Server Analysis Services provides several configuration options that enable
you to maximize performance, minimize latency, and schedule processing of
cubes. For more information about processing options in Analysis Services, see
the SQL Server documentation on MSDN (http://technet.microsoft.com/enus/library/bb500256.aspx) .
