Assign Users to Roles

To assign Kevin to the role of Sales manager, follow these steps:

1. Open
System administration > Setup > Security > Assign users to roles. 



2. Select the role "Sales manager."

3. In the center of the
Assign users to roles form, click Manually assign / exclude users.

4. Select the record for "Kevin Cook."


5. At the top of the
Assign user to or exclude user from this role form, click Assign to role.

6. Click
Close.

7. Notice "Kevin Cook" has been added to the Sales manager role.


8. Close the
Assign users to roles form.

NOTE: This procedure cannot be completed unless Procedure: Add a User has
been completed.
