Before You Install Business Intelligence Components

The Microsoft Dynamics AX business intelligence components provide reporting
and analytical functionality that enables you to view and interpret business data.
They also enable you to create and use SQL Server Reporting Services reports
and SQL Server Analysis Services cubes.

Before you can install the business intelligence components, you must complete
the following tasks.

• Verify that you have the required permissions to install the
business intelligence components: You must have the required
permissions to install the business intelligence components.

• Create domain accounts: Create domain accounts to run SQL
Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis Services.

• Install prerequisites: On the computer where you will install the
business intelligence components, run the prerequisite validation
utility to verify that system requirements have been met. For more
