In the destination environment, you import the service metadata that you
exported from the source environment.
1. Stop the AOS in the destination environment.
2. Use the AxUtil tool to import the metadata. Use the following
command-line syntax: AxUtil importstore –file:<file> -s:<DB server> -db:<DB name> -verbose
3. Restart the AOS.
4. Validate the metadata by verifying the AOT artifacts for services are present.
NOTE: You can customize Microsoft Dynamics AX by adding a service group in
the AOT. A service group is listed as a basic port in the Inbound ports form. If
you added a service group in the source environment, and set the AutoDeploy
property of the service group to "Yes," now the basic port is active in the
destination environment.
