View the Document History

To view the general history for a document, follow these steps:

1. Click
System administration > Periodic > Services and
Application Integration Framework
> History.

2. In the
Display by field, you can filter the display by selecting either
Message or Document.


a. When you filter by
Message, the following information about
the message is visible: the port, the service operation, the
message ID, the company accounts ID, and the date and time of
the message creation.


b. When you filter by
Document, in addition to the items
mentioned under
Message, also visible are the form name and
entity key for the document.


3. Click the
General tab to view the message-set identifier.

4. Click the
Details tab to view the following information:

a. The message direction (inbound or outbound).


b. The pipeline identification (if any).


c. User information for the port (the Microsoft Dynamics AX user
associated with the port) and the submitting user. This is the user
associated with the process that submitted the message (the
Microsoft Dynamics AX user that submitted the message for the
port, or a trusted intermediary).


d. For outbound documents sent in response to read requests, the
Request message ID field shows the message ID for the original
request.


e. Address details, which include the Adapter and the URI used for
the exchange.
